WHAT: Human Services Leaders to Address City Club of Chicago on Future of Social Services in Illinois at Sold-Out Luncheon

Three of Chicago’s top human services leaders will brief the City Club of Chicago on the disintegration of the State’s social services infrastructure as Illinois’ budget stalemate persists. Wendy DuBoe of United Way of Metropolitan Chicago will be joined by Marca Bristo of Access Living of Metropolitan Chicago and Ric Estrada of Metropolitan Family Services to share data and perspectives on how acutely clients and social service agencies continue to struggle more than 9 months into the state budget impasse. They will also discuss what the future of social service delivery could and should be in Illinois.
