Sertoma Centre was one of five agencies that received items displayed at the annual International Housewares Show at McCormick Place after the show dismantled its exhibits. Thanks to a United Way Day of Caring project the transportation of these items was made much simpler with the help of UPS employees who volunteered their evening.

Thanks to the generosity of Deloitte, the United Way Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program brought together more than 300 young adults from across the country to LIVE UNITED this spring. These spring breakers bypassed the beach, choosing instead to spend their time off affecting change in the areas of income, education, health and disaster relief.
