Deloitte and Teaming for Technology Chicago (T4T) recently served up a day of education, networking and goal setting for more than 50 Chicago-area nonprofits. United Way of America Honors Eli Lilly and Company with Spirit of America Award

  United Way of America presented the 2009 United Way Spirit of America® award to Eli Lilly and Company last month at its annual conference in Detroit. In 2008, Lilly and its employees gave $11.4 million, representing 20% of their charitable cash donations to United Way to help strengthen local communities. Cicero Students, Volunteers Prepare Peace Mural

Students from the United Way Latino Initiative and volunteers from Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW) stretched and primed canvases in preparation for an original mural to be erected in the foyer of the Cicero Town Hall during Cease Fire week in June.
