United Way of Metropolitan Chicago Recognizes Volunteers During National Volunteer Week

In honor of National Volunteer Week, April 21-27, United Way of Metropolitan Chicago (UWMC) would like to recognize the individuals, companies and agency partners who are committed to giving back to the community. United Ways Across Chicagoland Collect 18,500 Pounds of Food for Local Area Pantries

United Way of Metropolitan Chicago (UWMC) and its network of member United Way offices hosted their annual April Food Day on Thursday, April 18, to benefit local area food pantries across the organization’s six-county footprint including Kane, Cook, McHenry, Will, DuPage and Lake counties. United Way of Metropolitan Chicago (UWMC) is pleased to announce Joe Vanyo has been appointed to Chief Operating Officer (COO) from Senior Vice President of Strategy and Regional Operations.
