Parent Roundtable Addresses Needs of Suburban Teens

Northern Trust Kicks-off Annual United Way of Metropolitan Chicago Campaign

United Way of Metropolitan Chicago is pleased to announce its partnership with long-time supporter Northern Trust for the 2009 annual United Way campaign. Northern Trust kicked off its employee giving campaign on Tuesday, September 22. Last year, Northern Trust employees contributed $1,868,212 to United Way– helping make Northern Trust the United Way’s No. 1 Chicago corporate contributor. 100% of United Way Employees Gave to United Way During Internal Campaign

Northwest Suburban United Way Hosts 2nd Annual LIVE UNITED Food Drive

Northwest Suburban United Way hosted the community’s second annual food drive to benefit more than 20 food pantries throughout the Northwest suburbs.  More than 65 companies, schools, villages and local businesses collected food during LIVE UNITED Week, September 21—25.  Last year’s drive collected more than 24,000 pounds of food, which served approximately 750 families throughout 29 communities Northwest Suburban United Way serves.
